Finally, a vox populi (voice of the people) in blogosphere! The painful truth is that far too many are concerned about letting their own voices be heard while many gripe about the MSM which is supposedly the purveyor of truth or 'credible news'.
Like you, I advocate participatory journalism and emphasize pushing messages directly to the public from members of the public using the blogging medium as a means of getting around the filter.
Too often, people are so dependent on limited sources of information to the extent that they have deprived themselves of the right to think, express, energize and synergize for the betterment of our country. Instead, a good many go around quoting from blogs without fully immersing themselves in the heart of the subject matter.
May Netizens come forward in this blog and lead the way in bringing key information and suggestions to public light and encourage participation to provide independent, reliable, accurate, wide-ranging and relevant information that a democracy requires. Thanks for starting this blog!
